By personal involvement and contributions of the founder, the JWBfoundation supports, creates and (co-)produces local, national and international projects for children that use media and sports as a tool for development and peace building.
The JWBfoundation makes voluntary and independent personal contributions to support children’s media and sports for development and peace building projects, and those activities that are not eligible for full subsidies from public funds or organisations. The emphasis is on urgency and quality.
The JWBfoundation offers active and personal participation in education (workshops, seminars, masterclasses etc.), production and organisation of media and sports projects and events for children related to development and peace.
Involving our widely spread international network of broadcasters, producers, festivals, education, NGO’s and other organisations.
The JWBfoundation promotes local ownership of projects involved.
The JWBfoundation does not solely cover operating deficits, does not support organisations with a clear commercial or political goal, does not support people and organisations who or which have sufficient capital themselves to finance the project for which they are requesting support or have enough knowledge, skills, experience and people to perform such projects.
The JWBfoundation does not support projects and organisations that are, in the opinion of the foundation, controversial or that could harm the reputation of the foundation or the founder and his family.
